Hello Crafters!

This is Richa Maurya from Paper Palette and today I am here with my inspiration for the ongoing Challenge IQCG #50. The theme for this month is the indian tricolor to celebrate our 72 years of independence.

Based on this color palette, here is my project. It shaped in the form of an eye in anticipation of a better tomorrow.

 Here is my inspiration for this month ..made this card using the colors ..stamped the sentiment on center panel and arranged the quilled flowers and swirls .. then glued the blue panel to white card base and done

Hello Crafty friends,

Sindhu here, from colors of craft with my project for IQCG  #50.Yes, it our blog's 50th challenge and that too with our tricolor scheme. Please do participate and have fun.

Here is my project, a mini garden.For this I recycled a soap box.I have used 3mm quilling strips to make the flowers and leaves.

I covered the box with paper and layered a thermocol piece inside.After that I cut few strips of thick paper little longer than length of the box and pasted to both sides one by one which forms a support for  the grasses.The grasses are hand cut and pasted on the strips.

I made few leaves in green and flowers in orange, white and blue color .After adding stems, I  arranged them according to our flag.

The front of box is decorated with some hand cut fence, grass die cut and pearls.

Inspiration from Ishani

Hello dear crafters,

I am Ishani from Quillish and I invite you again, to participate in this month's quilling challenge here at IQCG , challenge no. 50 . Yay.. 50th challenge and also August is the month of Independence for India and this month we create quilling projects in the colors of  Indian National flag.

The details on how to play have been mentioned here and also in the introductory post by the challenge host -  Shylaashree, here.

To inspire you to get your paper strips out I have a quilled home decor - a decorative frame. 

I stamped a sentiment in the middle of the paper and the circle I  have used 3 mm strips in green for my leaves and the wreath. I cut a paper in spiral for the roses, a ribbon and half pearls to add bling.

After I created the quilled wreath I chomped the corners of my white base and framed it.
