I am Lakshmi here to share my inspiration for our current challenge for August.
This month theme is all about "Incredible India"
This challenge is open worldwide.
Indian ancient culture is our pride.
Thanjavur doll is a traditional Indian doll of art and culture, which has not only left India amazed, but has also made its mark in the world. This famous doll is from the district of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
It is an old Tamil art with the ancient method, which is totally handmade and can be easily glazed and painted. These dolls have been recognized as a Geographical indication (G.I) by the Government of India.
I have made attempted to make this doll completely in Quilling.
