#IQCG75- Inspiration from Reena Agarwal

Hello everyone!! My name is Reena Agarwal and my Instagram account is @reenaagarwal23

I'm here to share my inspiration for our current challenge. This month's challenge is to create anything with pink colour in it.

Pink ribbons are used as an international symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness and for the fight to find a cure against the disease. Originally peach coloured ribbons were used but later on the colour pink, which is a very specific shade called “150 Pink” was decided on for it’s symbolizing of calming, playfulness, quieting, and life affirming characteristics.

I've made a Lady in pink with a pink handbag. This lady symbolizes strength, vibrance and confidence to fight this deadly disease.

She is also carrying a handbag with pink ribbon to show support for those working towards breast cancer awareness.

I have used 3mm width pink quilling strips along with a little bit of black and white strips. To finish I've glued her on a white card and placed a rectangular pink frame with pink scalloped oval on top.

Hope I've inspired you enough to take out your quilling tools !  Happy Quilling !!
