Inspiration from Manvi Batra - IQCG66

Hello Crafters,

I am very excited to share my first Dt post.

The first theme of Year 2020 is to create something using old stash.

Sticking to this month's theme : using old items/ items from stash , i have upcycled an old jewellery box by doing quilling over that. I have also added some embellishments to enhance its beauty.
Here , i have used this husking flower and leaves from my stash and created this beautiful box.
I made this flower long time back and also , for those who want to learn husking techniques can check out my tutorials for the same.

I hope i have done justice to the theme. Feedbacks and suggestions are always welcome.

Now, it’s your turn to get creative with materials you already have. Thank you so much to play along with us.

Our sponsor this month is Craftgully. Winner will receive Rs.500 gift voucher.

Thank you.

Inspiration from DT Geetanjali - IQCG66

Hello Crafters,

I am excited to share my quilling project again in this new decade with you as part of the design team. Our this new decade monthly challenge theme is “Use item from you stash.”

Finding ways to be creative doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s as easy as saving items you already have. You can wisely using waste materials. You’ll never loose your self-confidence if you start to using “Trash” yes, they are cute too. ❤️

So you just need a good imagination and pile of junk and pinch of patience also. 😂

Here is my inspiration for this new decade, New Year 2020 Card. I used my pile of quilling strips and make tight coils. Then paste on a white card base.

Now, it’s your turn to get creative with materials you already have. Thank you so much to play along with us. All the best to all crafters.

Our sponsor this month is Craftgully. Winner will receive Rs.500 gift voucher.

And Wish you all a very Happy New Year ~2020

What would be interesting other than making a new year greeting.

IQCG-66 - Something Old

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to a new crafty year and our first challenge for 2020.

When we start something new, we tend to stash many in our craftroom. This is time to clear the backlogs. So that's why we decided to go with a theme that's opposite to what many other challenge blogs will do now in January. :-)

It's up to you how you interpret the theme. You could use old quilling strips which you might have hoarded for years, old stamps, or old papers and embellishments from your stash, or you could use your brand spanking new stash and make a project that's old-fashioned or simply put vintage!

Please just remember to let us know in your post what is the old ingredient in your projects is.
Now we hand it over to you: show us your "old", get creative & have fun!!!
