Hello everyone!!
This is Jasleen here today with my inspiration post for this month's Indian Quilling Challenge#15, where the theme is to create anything with quilled roses. You can create just about anything- a card, layout, altered item, stand-alone quilling project, 3d quilled creation, tags, bookmarks, etc. but make sure you have a quilled rose somewhere in your creation.
Here's what I've come up with:-
It's a tent card with a pot of roses hanging in the middle. The pot and the roses are quilled using 5 mm width quilling strips of various colours.
The butterflies on the front panel of the card were stamped and heat embossed using white EP . The front panel was sponged with different colours of memento inks and was stuck to the card base. A piece of white burlap was stuck on the inside, serving as a background to the quilling and the window.
I came across such tent cards on the quilling genius Inna Dorman's blog and instantly fell in love with the concept. Such a cute and unique way to greet, isn't it?

Here's a tutorial about quilling roses>>http://increations.blogspot.in/2010/07/how-to-fold-rose.html
Here's a tutorial that I followed to make this card>> http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/tentcard/
I hope you liked this as much as I did. Do give it a try. You'll be very happy with the outcome. :)
That's all from my side. Look forward to seeing what you all come up with. :)
Share your creations in the IQGC facebook album here or you can also mail your entries to indianquillingchallenges@gmail.com
